Lanzadera, the business accelerator promoted by the president of Mercadona, Juan Roig, has welcomed 130 startups in this September’s call, which multiplies by five the usual number of selected in its previous editions. With this new entry, 200 companies are currently located in its facilities and consolidate Marina de Empresas as one of the main entrepreneurial ecosystems in Europe.

The startups that join the program, chosen from among the 1,800 that have submitted applications in this call, offer innovative solutions in sectors such as fashion, finance, health, catering, video games or marketing, among others, as reported Shuttle in a statement.
Of these, almost fifty have joined the Start phase of the program, which welcomes people who, although they have not fully developed their project, have the initial idea and an “entrepreneurial attitude”. In this phase, the training of the entrepreneur in each of the business areas is of great importance.
In the Traction phase, incubation, a total of 46 projects have been selected that have already launched their product or service on the market and have their first metrics. Entrepreneurs receive accompaniment and support to start increasing sales and developing in a scalable way.
For their part, 23 startups have been included in the Growth phase of the program, which aims to make companies that have consolidated their business model grow. Startups get all the possible tools to boost their billing and customer base.
Finally, Jeff, Declarando and GrowPro Experience have joined the Scale Up phase, aimed at companies that have grown a lot and have a “proven and profitable” business model; While some startups that went through previous editions have been two recovered to receive the support of Lanzadera again: Aiudo, Discocil, Gana Energía, Holafly, Howlanders, Lamburguesa, MESbook, Momocca, Sea Saffron, Sepiia, Trucksters, UO, Waynabox and WITRAC.
The selected startups will be able to receive from aid of 1,000 euros to financing worth 500,000 euros, a figure that will be adjusted to the specific needs of each one. In addition, Corporate agreements will be accessible to any entrepreneur, regardless of the phase in which they are.
In this edition, 14 companies will collaborate in the agreements that Lanzadera has with Abanca, Acciona, Ribera Salud, Janssen (where Quibim, a company invested by Angels), Facsa, Mercadona and Playstation will participate.
